Adam Bull – Bio
In May 2006, Adam Bull (b. 1984) graduated from Emily Carr Institute of Art + Design (Vancouver, BC) with a Bachelor of Media Arts, majoring in Animation. Adam is currently employed at Nerd Corps Entertainment as a Compositor working on League of Super Evil.
Adam’s main focus has primarily been illustrating characters with black pen on paper. His drawings evoke a delicate, quiet, and sometimes somber mood. Yet, at the same time they are playful, allowing the viewer to conjure a fantastical world for these characters to live in.
Other interests of his range from poetry and short story writing to electronic music production and sound design.
Adam’s short story “Samuel and the Wicked Beast” was recently chosen to be included in the top group of entries in the 2010 Poetry and Adult Short Story Contest held by the Poetry Institute of Canada. The story was published in the Lamplight Tales anthology of short stories in January 2011.
He has also done CD album artwork for local Vancouver band Empire Alley in 2008.
